2020 Race Cancelled
It is with tremendous sadness that we must now announce the cancellation of the 2020 Four For the Fourth. We are currently working on a way to keep some of our July 4th traditions alive.
Please know we waited as long as possible in hopes of being able to deliver the same quality you’ve come to expect, but with that not being possible we look forward to our 2021 event to be the 10th annual and promise to work tirelessly to make it as grand as it can possibly be.
The decision to cancel the race was very difficult and emotional and was largely based on our inability to obtain supporting materials (bibs, shirts, medals, volunteers, etc.). This is certainly not something we wanted to do, but like everything we have all endured over these last few months, the decision was made with the guidance of state officials and with the safety of our community at the forefront.
Thank you for your patience, understanding and ongoing support. We hope to see you on the trails!
- If you were preregistered for 2020, you are automatically registered for 2021. No action required. If you require any adjustments, just let us know and we will work with you.
- We seek to provide a free, fun family experience for the entire community to keep your July 4th traditions alive! (more details to come)
- Our mission to support the trails in Yorktown continues.
